| Description: | Hello! I am almost 20 years old and will quit my military service in late November. I am a sailor in the Swedish navy and have experience from (besides from military vessels) large sailing ships as well as small pleasure boats. I would like to sail as a deck hand on a sailing yacht, but could do other duties as well. Even though I do not have any experience from yacht sailing, I think I would fit in that kind of crews since I believe myself to easy fit in new situations and am a fast learner. I am very social and would like to find new friends (who perhaps can teach me something about sailing, who knows?). I am responsible, pragmatic, good with children and a good sailor who likes to take initiatives. I have been working as a sales man and a waiter during my high school time. If you would like to know something more about me, do not hesitate to send me an e-mail. My plan is to find a boat with which I can sail across the Atlantic Ocean in the beginning of December and perhaps do some cruising on the Central American coast. Another idea I have got is to join a crew in North America to cross the Pacific Ocean. However, nothing is decided yet and I am flexible (I am a swede, right?) and open for suggestions. Hopefully I will be going to college next autumn, where I will study international relations and conflicts, wich means that my time limit is from December 2008 until August 2009. |
