We just bought a 1993 36' Solaris Sunstar. We want to take it to the island of Oahu, where we live. I am being required by the insurance company to have 2 people on board who have made open ocean passages. I will handle all provisioning, we have new bedding. If we could find an experienced couple to join us, it would work out best with the berths available. The most important thing, aside from experience, is PLEASE, NO SMOKERS! I am 49 and my husband is 50. He grew up sailing the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe. I have less experience, but am learning. |
