| Description: | I am a well-travelled professional engineer on a career break. I am an experienced cruising yachtsman and am looking for to crew on a yacht from October 05, hopefully with an opportunity to cross the Atlantic. I am 37 years old with 20+ years experience in boats from 2m to 30m. I am a hands-on person and have wide experience of maintenance and repair of all things nautical, often in testing conditions. Oh yes, I can cook too. I am an RYA coastal skipper, with yachtmaster ocean theory, first aid and VHF certificates and 5000 miles blue water and coastal. I am also a diving instructor and PhD in diesel engines. On-board I am hard-working, tidy, very practical and adaptable. I am an easy-going person and fit well into most teams.
