| Description: | I´m a 19-year old able-bodied seaman girl that love to sail. I have studied at the Sailing college in Sweden for three years. Nine month my our education I sailed onboard the 49 m, threemasted barque T/S Gunilla. Onboard T/S Gunilla I worked with ordinary deckhand work such as watchkeeping (steer, navigate, keep the lookout, work with the sails, make rounds in the engine room and so forth), doing maintenance work, assist in the galley and cleaning on and below the deck. I have got a medical certificate for seagoing personnel, a certificate in Basic Safety Training, examination as ship´s officer for small passenger boats and I have studied a basic engine course. I speak Swedish, English a bit Spanish and also a bit Finnish. |
