| Description: | My name is Jackie Palm. I am a very personable nineteen-year-old girl. I was born and raised in Kenai, Alaska where I have participated in my family’s commercial fishing set-net operation every summer of my entire life. For the past six years, among other things, my duties have included skippering a 22 ½ foot aluminum skiff running a 75hp outboard engine. I am no stranger to wind, tides, and hard work, and I definitely have my sea-legs. I have a top-of-the-line work ethic and a can-do attitude. On top of that I have a sense of humor that can run with the best of them. I’m pretty green to the yachting industry, but with a little direction I believe that I will be a great asset to any crew. I look forward to staying in the yachting industry for a few years or more. |
