| Description: | I am hard working, responsible and full of positive attitude. Have a pleasant personality and a lot of patience. Can fit easily in a crew and share respect to my colleagues. Like sailing, nature, cooking, photography, art and have good hands and good technical sense. I have a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology (Bsc) My experience at sea include: 3 years in the Israeli NAVY on a ship getting experience of sailing ( sailed over 20,000 nm) and maintenance work, also work as a commander of seamanship crew (bosun), Commanding on helicopter landing crew and being one of the divers in the rescue crew. Member of the Damage control crew (fire and flood) of the ship. Sailing the eastern Mediterranean sea –Israel, Turkey and Cyprus as a crew member and first-mate on the Israel maritime college yachts. I have a Skippers Certificate for internatinal voyages licensed by the Israeli Ministry Of Transport and a GMDSS (VHF) licence and a diving licence. I'm in Dominican Republic working as 1st mate on 82ft Catamaran, ready for suggestions. I'm ready to send my CV and references to any one who is interested. Cheers Lior |
