First mate (paid) wanted. 56 ft sailing yacht currently cruising Australia/NZ requires one energetic, hardworking crew member to perform the following tasks: routine and preventive maintenance, cleaning and polishing, navigation, sailing, watch keeping, management of repairs, provisioning, inventory management, and some cooking. This job combines hard work with the opportunity to enjoy fun adventures.
Applicants should have some demonstrated sailing skills, basic engineering and mechanical skills, be self-motivated, organized, willing to learn new skills, and available to commit to a 1-2 year cruising schedule.
