| Description: | We are looking for a female crew member who is preferably between 25 and 40 years of age. There is no smoking aboard the vessel. We speak fluent English, acceptable French and German and a little Spanish aboard the vessel. Dear Crew Member Hi We currently have great crew who is leaving us at the end of February 2008. We would like to hire someone starting March 10th, 2008. With a 17 month old daughter we could now use some help! This includes primarily childcare but also sailing during passages, boat cleaning and maintenance and some cooking. Mary and I are an easy going couple who love a variety of activities. I am a water sports fanatic and love kite surfing, diving (We have a dive compressor onboard), surfing and wind surfing. I also like to read and enjoy cooking. Mary likes a milder version of some of the above but spends more time writing and reading. We also love to hike and explore the places we visit. We are very social and love meeting new people (one of the joys of cruising) but also like our quiet times. We have been cruising full time (with a few years off) since 1999.We are a married couple with a 17 month old daughter doing a circumnavigation on our 44-foot luxury catamaran Andromeda built in South Africa in 2002. In April we sailed from Cape Town to Brazil then to Trinidad. We are looking for a crew/nanny to help with cleaning, watches and general boat upkeep. We have been cruising full time since 1999 and have cruised extensively in New England, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. |
