| Description: | ARC 2005 Crew Available My fiancée, Patty, and me, Graham, are 100% committed to sailing in the ARC. The only thing we are missing is a boat! We are Canadian citizens and currently live in the US (but are returning to Canada to our professional careers after our upcoming adventures). Patty is 27 years old. She speaks fluent English, French, Spanish, and Polish. I am 30. I'm decently mechanically inclined, and have experience with navigation and night watches (I worked on an off-shore salmon fishing boat in the Pacific for a few seasons). Neither of us get seasick and we get along super well together (we've been together for about 7 years and we're not an argumentative couple). We are honest, reliable, clean, fun, and fit, don't smoke, and can cook. We can contribute towards food expenses, and some others, if required. For sailing experience, we've competed in beer can races, have completed several beginner / intermediate cruising courses and have leased a 30' boat for 1 year where we had unlimited access and took full advantage of it (a little under 1000nm & lot's of 20/30+ knot winds, strong currents, and boat traffic in San Francisco Bay). We are both fast learners and completely open to learning about the challenges of sailing across an ocean.
