| Description: | DIRECTOR OF YACHT OPERATIONS: This position will oversee several yachts and have responsibility for flawless operational execution. Essential duties and responsibilities: -Establish and maintain yacht fleet operating standards -Manage Company's relationships with the Flag State,Classification Society, and Port State Authorities -Interpret, communicate, and implement rules/regulations -Partner with the Captains and other Company teams to plan vessel maintenance, refits, and upgrades -Develop and manage multi-million dollar budget -Oversee Yacht Management vendor's performance in the areas of: recruiting, logistics, suppliers/vendors selection and negotiation, including fuel/lube oil. -Manage a high performing team, including hiring and performance management. -Partner with Director of Yacht and Estate Services to develop and implement training programs. Qualifications: -8-10 years managing large yacht crews or multiple yachts or high-end passenger ships. -Familiarity with maritime law and Safety Management System -Knowledge of technical requirements for a yacht -Proven experience developing and maintaining highly effective owner/guest focused teams -Proven ability to manage a fleet; thorough understanding of fleet management practices and procedures -Previous successful experience developing and managing large, complex budgets -Outstanding geographical knowledge ***Please email resume of experience and qualifications to: seattlerecruiting@gmail.com |
