| Description: | Two positions avilable: Experienced Deckhand, and Experienced Steward/ess /Chef. Both require STCW95. I am looking for friendly, committed crew with an idea of what expectation levels are from charter guests. The deckhand position requires someone with the ability to keep the yacht clean and tidy at all times, carry out simple repairs as and when they arise, be able to operate a tender / crane and run guests ashore. Understand boat docking / maneauvering, and be proficient in line handling etc. You may occasionally be asked to stand watch for periods whilst the yacht is under way. This is a smaller yacht, with a pleasant working environment. The steward /ess position requires someone with previous experience of this type of role, being a smaller yacht this is a combined steward / ess & chef role. Preparing and presenting meals for guests, plus simple crew meal preparation. Service. Provisioning, house keeping etc. You will be expected to maintain the accounts for the interior running of the boat. This is a 20m Maiora motor yacht (2001) that has recently been refitted. It has twin MTU engines with a cruising speed of 20 knots. It has a flybridge. It will be based in Viarregio for the season and will be up for charter from August until the end of the season. The charters will probably be around the Italy and islands, corsica, etc. |
