| Description: | This is a post for all who are posting "crew wanted" ads. If you are looking for intelligent, young, adventurous, strong men, then I invite you to search the "crew available" page for "vincejh," and to read our entry and view our picture. In order to plan our summer rightly, we need to know our options. So far nobody has contacted us, and so I now resort to posting our request here (sorry if I broke any codes of ethics). If you are even remotely considering us, please email me as soon as you can, so I can know how much time and energy to put into this effort. (vincejh@masters.edu) This is what our post says: Two pairs of brothers seek to sail the seas. We do not have much experience (just Catalina and back a few times, and some coastal day trips), but we learn quickly and do not complain. We’re four young, strong, teachable, adventure-loving guys who would be willing to crew/etc. for a good captain, learning as we go along (wherever the destinations may be). We’re available from June 19 to July 26, 2005 (possibly longer). Three of us are teachers, and one of us will have just graduated from UCLA. Please notify Jonathan if you think we would make a good team on your boat. |
