| Description: | I'm a fit and active 60 year old with some two years sailing experience including a five month Yachtmaster Fastrak with BOSS in the Solent and Channel (have theory but didn't do practical exam) and a total of ~6,000 miles including Solent/Channel, NW Spain to Canaries, Cairns to Cape York, Darwin to Singapore via Kupang and Bali and Sardinia to Preveza. I'm now interested in getting as much sailing/cruising experience as possible as a prelude to buying my own boat. I love being around boats and sailing people and just wish that I'd found about this way of life earlier! I'm retired with an understanding partner and just about financially independent - at a basic survival level - which results in a fairly high availability.
