| Description: | I am a 40 year old who has recently been divorced with no children and I have decided to put my 25 years of sailing experience to good use and look for a sailing or cruising adventure and I am open to all opportunities. I am very easy going but at the same time dependable and very good in crisis situations on the water, if such a situation arises. • Started sailing on the Chesapeake when I was eleven when my parents bought a 36 Choylee. This was the start of my love for sailing. I was lucky enough to attend several sailing camps and soon became involved with racing. With the pinnacle of east coast racing was on j24’s out of Annapolis. • When I relocated to the west coast in 87’ I went to work for Ventura Harbor Boatyard as the office manager and remained for nine years. This provided me with additional understanding of overall boat maintenance and the inner workings of a boatyard. • Once on the West coast I again began to become involved with racing, starting with a J24, Catalinia 42'(Wind Dancer 1st in class in the last Transpac) , several J35s, and current racing a Fast 42’ at of Ventura. • As far as positions on a race boat I have done them all with the last few boats as tactician or Head trimmer. When it comes to sailing I would put my skill set against most. • I love the sailing. I love making a boat go and working with a crew to make both the performance and experience as enjoyable as possible. I have gravitated to boats were the attitude was great but experience weak and therefore taking a teaching role to bring the boat up to speed, which I enjoy. I also have raced on more experienced boats with a lesser role which has also been enjoyable as we all know you can never stop learning. I have strong computer skills and also am considered an excellent cook which I enjoy a great deal, though no professional experience.
