| Description: | CREW WANTED Would you like to be involved in the first stage of creating the sailing project "Infinity" during her one to two year shake-down voyage from Mexico through the South Pacific to India - and beyond? ABOUT INFINITY Infinity is a fast 120 foot (36 meters), 150 ton Ketch-rigged sailing ship. (Sail area 5,000 sq. ft.) built in 1977. Presently and during the upcoming voyage we are converting Infinity into a robust world-wide expedition vessel operation. Upon completion, Infinity will easily accommodate 20 people in a spacious and comfortable environment. Infinity's aim is to offer a life-enriching experience in a creative and multicultural atmosphere. ABOUT US We are a young German family with 3 children (ages 14, 6 and 4)and at present 2 crew members. We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to be part of creating the Infinity project while sailing through the South Pacific. We are also looking for able-bodied people to join us immediately for our Nov. 1st departure from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico and can crew for a limited period of time (several weeks). We need people with a wide range of interests and abilities, including: - social and artistic skills - people handy with tools - house keeping - enjoying children Together we share all duties on board and have different group activities such as: - yoga/body-mind awareness - reading (poetry/literature) - meetings to bring Infinity project to life (expedition planning, philosophy, web-page) Your contribution to running costs would be $500 US per month.
