| Description: |
The Expedition Vessel Wanderbird is looking for immediately available crewmembers to join us for our 2011 arctic season. No real experience is necessary....just an interest in adventure , hardwork and fun. Cooking skills and interest a plus! We carry twelve guests on 6-14 day expeditions along the coasts of Maine, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador and Greenland. We are a family owned operation and have been carrying happy guests to remote places aboard our vessels for over twenty years. We offer the adventure of a lifetime and keel to masthead training aboard the Wanderbird. Our season begins in Maine inlate April, 2011 and continues until late october, 2011. If you are a friendly, easy going, hard working person of any age or gender who wants to join us then please contact us at the email address listed below. Experience is not required as we will train you and show you the beautiful coast line of Maine all the way up to the ice bergs and polar bears of Northern Labrador and Greenland. In exchange for this training and adventure we ask you to work the vessel with us during the 2011 arctic season. After you email us at wbcrew2011@gmail.com , we will send you more information. Wanderbird was written about in The Nov, 2007 National Geographic Traveler Magazine as one of the 25 Best trips in the World. Hope to hear from you soon!
