| Description: | I have worked aboard many different vessels as a part of the crew for both commercial and recreational purposes. I have experience operating both sail and motor vessels as well. I am mostly familiar with smaller vessels (from 13' to 25' center console boats and small 12' to 18' sailboats), however, I do have experience aboard larger sail and motor vessels up to 105'. I have worked with CMAST (NC State) research and tagging projects and helped interpret data to determine undersized fish release mortality. I have worked on offshore commercial sea bass trapping vessels, and have a working knowledge of how the operations and processes work aboard such vessels. Lastly, the ocean, it's aquatic ecosystems and marine life have been both a passion and major part of my life for as long as I can remember. |
