| Description: | Dear Captain RE : CHEF-CREW AVAILABLE I am Australian and have a life of boating experience; I have crewed on leisure, sport and competitive boats, as well as working on MY and SY Internationally. As a chef, I am sea worthy with over 30,000nm professional experience. I therefore would come to a vessel as a true professional and not just someone doing a couple of 'gap' years. I enjoy sharing the sailing experience, as well as being a chef who enjoys using regional produce (where possible) and handling the protocols in different regions when stocking. I enjoy working independently, but I always keep aware of the crew, guests and changing situations; I have longevity, so do the hours well, and am not 'edgy or moody', I get on with life and the task at hand. In my most recent position, on luxury exploration MY Surprise(FIJI & TONGA region), I cooked for 8 guest and 5 + crew, I organized supplies from remote locations in the Pacific, often through major Ports and then being flown in, sometimes through two countries with different agents - as well, I also managed sourcing provisions (in an appropriate manner) with the local islanders; and stocking organic for owner requirements - I also wish to note, that in this position I also managed fresh fish into provision and butchered pigs etc for feasts and/or storage. During my last 5 years in Europe I chose to split seasons working different contracts to allow me to develop a variety of experience in Europe and the Caribbean in an efficient manner. I have worked in different positions in Indonesia, Pacific Islands, West Coast of Canada, Caribbean, Med and North Finland through the North Sea to Palma.
