| Description: | Dear Employers, My name is Marie-Pier Guy, Canadian, 39, French + English. I worked in the music and movie business for many years, I have a lot of experience with the public. Last year, I was a member of a crew on the 36 feet sailing vessel. We were 5 people on board and didn't know each other (I was the only woman on board). We had to deliver the boat in 4 weeks from Montreal (Lac Champlain) to Nassau (Bahamas). We made it through cold, snow, rain, wind... day and night. I loved every minute of it. Not only I was navigating and doing the same job as the guys, but I took charge of every meal; planning and managing for 5 members for a month, every day. That is when I decided to change career and tried to find a job as hostess. Since then I did a couple of charters (sailing vessel) in the Bahamas as hostess and cook. I'm back in Canada but I would like to find a job for next Octobre/November, I am ready to enroll for at least 3 months. Dynamic, persistent and driven by an intense desire to learn, I am an energetic person who is able to adapt easily to any circumstance and for whom working under pressure is a motivating challenge. In particular, my management positions in public relations, cinema and multimedia, not to mention working with troubled teens have proven invaluable in developing my ability to plan, implement and bring to fruition projects of all kinds – and often, simultaneously. I am considered methodical, rational and unwaveringly trustworthy. I am a hard worker, conscientious and honest, good-natured, friendly and I love life.
