| Description: | “I race in Sonata class in regattas twice a week and have been doing so for the past 2 years (5th in UK Nationals 2010). Would like to take my Sailing offshore and broaden my experiences beyond racing. I am a BA trainee Pilot (fully qualified but no job!) so although I do not have formal RYA qualifications (beyond level 4 dinghy), i've studied similar subjects for flying (Nav, Meteorology, electrics & Engines). I Have strong engineering skills (service my own diesel car), also worked for family construction business so handy with joinery, electrics and a paintbrush, weakest area is plumbing but can do it! I Love food and enjoying cooking - will happily cook for small groups. Also have cmas 2* dive qualification. But most importantly i love sailing and being on the sea and i am not scared of hard work. Ideally looking for paid position on a boat for summer with possibility of longer term. (Oh fluent in Spanish & not bad at French)” |
