| Description: | 40ft cruiser, currently in NY, seeks crew to help take her down the east coast to Georgia, later (once hurricanes are off) to the Caribbeans. Owner/captain is retired navy, 47, delivery-captain. Need 1-2 hands on this trip. Must have basic sailing capabilities with someover-night experience. Boat is a heavy cruising sailboat, well rigged, all safety gear is there and in good condition. Plan is to leave NY (probably up the Long Island Sound) at the end of Sep. or beginning of Oct., head south past cape Hatteras in a single leg, weather permitting, then continue to Savannah GA.
