| Description: | Highly respected sail charter company has Chef position available. Your working environment will be aboard a beautiful schooner in the wilderness areas of B.C.'s central and north coast, and/or the Gulf Islands, B.C. Help thoughtful, fun-loving guests encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including whales, bears, dolphins and seabirds. Be part of a great adventure. Our trips are recommended by Frommer’s Canada guide as a “Trip of a Lifetimeâ€. Chef must be a creative gourmet, flexible, able to plan for week-long trips in a highly organized way and work well in small galley. The position makes great lifestyle for skilled, hard-working “people†persons. Duties include all aspects of planning, ordering, provisioning, stowing and preparing all meals on board 92' schooner for 9 adult guests and 5 crew. Meals include breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Food safe or equivalent, and culinary arts certification or similar experience necessary.
