We are an Egyptian company pioneering the introduction of luxury yacht charter in the Red Sea. Our aim is to establish a new standard of yachting in our beautiful and highly promising region. Our first (and currently only!) motor yacht, Al Zahra, was painstakingly constructed to be the first yacht in the Red Sea targeted towards clients seeking a luxurious alternative to the mass-market options available. Al Zahra was designed to be a fusion of the beauty of traditional Arabic and modern amenities, hosting a maximum of 10 guests in 5 ensuite cabins. She sails with her guests on itineraries of their choice starting from Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada, offering them a selection of their preferred activities (cruising, diving, fishing, island-hopping) and the highest standard of service. Al Zahra has been in operation now for almost five years, during which period she has hosted and charmed some of the world’s pickiest travelers and has earned a name for herself with operators of luxury yacht charter such as Camper & Nicholsons, Cavendish White, and others. Nevertheless, the past years have been somewhat of a rollercoaster ride in terms of business volume, thanks in part to the efforts of Mr. Bin Laden, Bush, Saddam and co. as well as the novelty of the Red Sea as a deluxe cruising destination. Fortunately, Egypt and the Red Sea have their indomitable attraction and business has again returned to booming mode. We are now seeking a talented and dedicated Captain/Engineer/Business Development Manager to take over the complete management of Al Zahra, overseeing her operations as well as business development. It is a challenging task for which we are seeking someone with both sharp nautical, technical and business skills. In addition to the extensive hospitality and yachting experience required to succeed at the managerial and operational duties of a luxury yacht Captain/Engineer, our candidate must also have sufficient luxury product sales experience. Our upcoming sales plans involve increasing our charter offerings to include (in addition to our extended private charters) day trips and luxury dinner cruises aimed at guests of the local 5 star hotels. We also plan on sailing Al Zahra this summer to Turkey to attend the Marmaris Yacht Charter Show and test the summer charter season in Turkey for the first time.
