HELMSMAN/1ST MATE/DECKHAND AVAILABLE FOR SAIL OR MOTOR YACHT DELIVERY. I am an American but am currently “land locked†in Texas. I am available for a paid delivery crew or paid crew position for either a sail or power vessel anywhere. While on active duty in the US Navy I received schooling and experience in maritime safety, navigation and plotting. I served as a 35 ft. Motor Whaleboat / Captain’s Gig Coxswain, Engineer and Boat Officer. I have strong navigation and helm experience in the Pacific Ocean (more South than North), Mexican and Central American West Coast, Indian Ocean, South and East China Sea, Coral Sea, Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf. I have extensive foul weather experience in the North Pacific. I am qualified in the following: Master Helmsman, Bow and Stern Hook, Deck Rigger, Firefighting, Search And Rescue Swimmer and Expert Lookout. I am a PADI Diver and Open Water Scuba certified. I am in good physical shape, 40 years old. I worked extensively with Navy SEAL’s in many types of boats and operations. My US passport is current and I am able to travel worldwide.
