I have seen and responded to an offer I saw posted. But I am wary and will not go the final step without confirming for myself they are trustworthy. The fact that I can hardly find any information on them and that I have seen others post on www.crewfile.com makes me suspect they are fraud and probably the same as posted here.<BR><BR> The fact that a company and lawyer rely on yahoo e-mail communication and geocities free websites does not really inspire confidence.<BR><BR> The pay offered may be tempting, but looking into the average pay for the region (Ghana) I expect it is purely intended to attract foreigners. According to my search the average daily pay in Ghana is 10.000-15.000 Cedis, now let's play with our Universal Currency converter:<BR><BR> 15,000.00 GHC Ghana Cedis = 1.64745 USD United States Dollars 1 GHC = 0.000109830 USD 1 USD = 9,105.00 GHC<BR><BR> So an average monthly pay is roughly 50 bucks if you work every single day. I have trouble understanding how a Ghana company can afford to pay untrained (for the type of position that is) foreigners 4.000,- USD. For that amount of money they can probably get swarms of locals with much better credentials.<BR><BR> The one thing I found supportive of the story is that indeed Cocoa is a typical Ghana export as it's one of their main produces. Looking into the available information and checking what I could of the available background it doesn't make sense to me. I have contacted the Irish consulate on this and they have confirmed that this is a scam. |
