| Description: | I am an experienced sailor and a true fanatic. I sailed on the dutch lakes since I was a boy. After I sailed in an optimist for quite some years I improved my sailing skills on a Schakel and a Laser. When I was 16 I gained my Sailing Instructors Cerificate and after four years of teaching I gained my Sailing Instructors Certification. When I was 18 years old, I sailed the Northern sea. I crossed from Holland to Denmark on a Koopmans 40. Eversince I am always attracted to the sea. In the following years I sailed with a variety of people on all the water I could get my boat to. I sailed on the following trips as captain of the ‘Triangel’, a Farrier 27. 1999 Denmark and Sweden, I sailed to Denmark and Sweden. 2000 Medditerenean, I sailed from Antibes to Corse. I rounded Corse and sailed a good bit of the Italian coast, from Rome back to Antibes. 2001 South Of britain, Channel Islands, Normandy, Belgium. This summer I made a journey starting at IJmuiden, along the british south coast, to Landsend and back to Holland via the channel Islands, Normandy and Belgium. 2002 Adriatic sea, I sailed from Zadar to Dubrovnik and stranded back in Venice. 2003 Medditerenean sea, I sailed half a year on the Medditerenean. I started in Antibes, sailed to Turkey and back to Barcelona. 2003 Atlantic crossing, I crossed the Atlantic with a friend on his Freia 44. We sailed form Gibraltar to St. Maarten W.I. 2004 Schotland I sailed from Den Helder to Edinburgh and back. |
