| Description: | Vessel: Seaworthy cutter rigged sailboat w/ essentially all systems completely rebuilt over last two years. Capt: USCG Licence 50T Coastal; Master's Inland; sail / towing endorsements. Considerable sailing & training experience. PADI Scuba Instructor rating. Plan: Spring / Summer / Fall '06 sailing Chesapeake / possibly NE (still have day job). Departing May '07 for points northbound (ME, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island, possibly Newfoundland, retuning Chesapeake fall. Depart late Fall'07 for Bermuda, thence Islands via open ocean. Likely will work some in islands (dive instructor), return northbound late Spring '08. Repeat for one more year. Then either continue on to Europe the next spring or go west thru 'big ditch' and on into the "other" ocean - too far out to tell. Position available: Female sailing companion. Term: As long as is reasonable, afternoon sail, weekend, summer, remainder of natural life (I think that just about covers it). Qualifications required: Desire to travel, spend time in interesting locations, enjoy new experiences, actually enjoy sailing, willing to share in effort to achieve the really fun parts. Renumeration: No currency or other legal tender proffered. However, great backrubs, good companionship, wonderful humor, and opportunity for no tan lines should be available in abundance. |
