| Description: | Basically we're a 2001 92' Hatteras Motoryacht. Myself and the chef/stew have been working with these owners since 2000. I've actually known them for over 20 years - kind of a family thing, so it's a pretty comfortable job. What I need is basically a stewardess or deck/stew, you'd be serving most of the meals and be responsible for the majority of the interior. The chef is actually also a stew, but he's largely in the galley so there's not much time for him down below except to perhaps do bunks when needed, we usually serve at least 2 meals a day on-board. You'd be sharing SOME of the load with him at first until you're comfortable taking on more responsibility. Also, of course, you'd need some deck skills. But, these can be taught. As well, every once and a while I'd need you outside usually for detail work if you've got the time. Overall, we carry a total crew of 4 (including myself). The crew quarters isnt spectacular and you'd be sharing a cabin with myself and the mate. But, most crew quarters' arent spectacular right? Sometimes if things are a bit crowded on-board I'll get day-rooms and the crew can crash in there if need-be. Our itinerary was recently approved and we'll be headed to Costa Rica (which is why a Spanish-speaking stewardess would be nice) in February most likely until April; enroute we'll be doing Key West, Mexico, Roatan, Isla De san Andres, and Panama. In early January we're be heading probably to Nassau/Harbor Island. Aside from that, once we get out of the yard usually we have dinners on-board at least once every other week. The boat usually stays docked on S. Beach at this time, but that may change. We're strictly a PRIVATE motoryacht. We don't charter, which is why the boat is in good shape. The whole crew is salaried with health care completely paid for. Cellular included. Sometimes gas. We're a very laid-back but efficient operation. So, if you're interested shoot me your resume w/picture and some contact info and I'll look it over. Thanks, Capt. Shawn |
