Sorcerer II, a 95’ T.P. Cookson is looking for a Deckhand/Stewardess. The deckhand/stewardess is responsible for ensuring that all routine deck maintenance and safety checks are completed, conducting watch duties and assisting all members of the crew with assigned tasks. Other duties include sail handling and trimming, working closely with the First Mate to perform maintenance, repair and inspections, organize deck and rig maintenance and help maintain and operate Sorcerer II as we cruise from San Diego to Europe. Candidates would be required to live onboard and learn the systems of the vessel while participating as part of the 3-5 member crew. This is a full time position and duties are often 7 days per week but time off is granted when possible. Projects are undertaken when the boat is not moving.

| Qualifications: |
Successful candidates will have blue water sailing experience, STCW 95 certification, knowledge of vessel security, safety procedures and basic systems. Professional crewing experience preferred. Candidates must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. frequently, frequently lift and/or more up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Candidates must have the ability to live in close quarters and sharing responsibilities while traveling. |
