| Description: | Hello, I am a devoted and hard working 26 year old who is looking to work on a crew for a privately owned vessel. I am extremely eager to learn how to sail. However, I bring many skills such as the ability to multi-task, stres-management, and an outgoing and professional personality. For the past two years I have been an exectutive assistant and policy advisor to a Federal Minister (US equivalent; Federal Secretary), and I worked for the year of 2007 as an assistant in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada. I have become accustomed to 12 hour days, and want to work hard, but also enjoy a year or so on the ocean. I am especially qualified to work with VIPs, as I am regularly sent to interviews and meetings of executives on behalf of my Minister, who runs a 4 billion dollar department in the Canadian Government. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's University in Halifax Nova Scotia, with a double major in French and Geography. I can send my CV and referrences on request. |
